Our Honeymoon Fund
If you would like to celebrate with us by giving a gift, we’ve created a honeymoon fund to help make our adventure even more special. For our honeymoon, we’re excited to dive into a unique journey by volunteering for a week on a community development programme, hopefully Madagascar. After that, we can’t wait to unwind somewhere peaceful, where we’ll enjoy some much-needed "us" time away from the world. While there is no obligation, any contribution will help make this unforgettable experience even more meaningful. Thank you for your kindness!

Our Love Story
Emil and Lauren are two peas in a pod, perfectly matched and practically the same person—anyone who knows them can see it. Emil grew up in Lee, South London, while Lauren was raised in Ilford, East London. Even as teenagers, their paths nearly crossed. Both took the 261 bus from Lewisham: Lauren heading to visit her dad and Emil going to his dad’s office. They even attended the same Christian weekend retreats through their churches, where they shared a love for adventure and activities. Though they missed each other in those early years, fate kept nudging them together. When they each took their first jobs, Emil worked at Sports Direct in Stratford, while Lauren was just 300m around the corner at Westcoast in the same shopping center—yet somehow, they still hadn’t met. Life moved on and their careers took shape: Lauren as a nurse and Emil as an architect. Once again, they found themselves working just streets apart in the heart of London. Lauren on Dean Street and Emil on Newman Street - almost within reach, but still just missing each other. Then, at last, modern dating brought them together. After they matched, Emil and Lauren met for their first date at Callaloo Caley, where Emil won Lauren over with his cool, laid-back charm and stylish outfit (guess who wrote this part!). She was instantly smitten and adored his Carlton like personality. From that very first date, they both felt something different. They’d finally found their missing piece in each other, bringing out the best in one another. Emil quickly knew Lauren was "the one," and she soon became the first girlfriend he ever introduced to his parents. A proposal was inevitable. The inseparable pair jetted off to Italy, traveling from Bologna to Florence, where Emil proposed at the Antinori winery. Of course, Lauren said yes. Now, they are here and are both thrilled to celebrate their love with all of you.
