Our Love Story
It all began in 2017, within the historic halls of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), where fate gently nudged two paths to cross. Aisling and Ed first met as PhD students—two curious minds brought together not just by their PhD studies, but by a spark that grew quickly with the help of a few well-placed friends. Their first date, on the 12th of August 2017, was the beginning of something truly special. From that day forward, their bond only deepened. Together, they built a life full of laughter, adventure, and the occasional chaos—all beautifully anchored by their greatest joy: Bran, the four-legged King of the household (and, let’s be honest, Aisling’s true love). On a crisp winter evening, the 21st of December 2023, Ed got down on one knee and asked Aisling to be his forever. She said yes—and the next chapter of their love story began. On the 1st of February 2025, in the quiet, sacred beauty of Crosskeys Church, Aisling and Ed said "I do" in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family. With her father proudly walking her down the aisle, it was a day filled with heartfelt moments and lifelong memories. You’ll find some of those memories captured in the photos we’ve shared here. We’re so excited to finally celebrate this love story with all our dearest friends and family in September. Let the celebrations begin!
Accommodation Information
We recommend staying at Crover House Hotel for the wedding as it is quite isolated. However, there may be alternative options of B&B in the area around Lough Sheelin. If guests plan to attend the Day 2 celebrations, we would recommend staying in a hotel in Cavan Town. Please contact us for recommendations.
