Activities for our guests
We are so excited for all of our guests to experience beautiful Obertauern Austria (from Thursday 3 July to Sunday 6 July). We are planning to have a number of fun activities for you to enjoy. Please note that these are all entirely optional! No need to RSVP for these activities yet - we will reach out in due time. This includes: - Guided hikes (for all levels, bring your hiking shoes) - Tennis at Sportzentrum Radstadt club (bring your tennis gear) - Golf at the Golfclub Radstadt (bring you golf clothes, rent the clubs there) - Painting for kids and adults - Austrian cooking class (Kurt's favourite dish) - Schnaps tasting in the village - Relax in the spa where you'll find multiple saunas, steams rooms, and pools Prior to the wedding, we will be in Salzburg (1 hour drive from Obertauern) from Tuesday 1 July to Thursday 3 July. Feel free to join us for a few activities there (see Schedule below), RSVP required.

For those who love the iconic movie The Sound of Music, we plan to take a group tour to visit all the most memorable filming locations from the movie. If you're interested, please RSVP and we can check the price and organise the group.

We have exclusive use of the Hotel Steiner (https://www.hotel-steiner.at) in Obertauern, Austria for our wedding. This hotel is a very special place for us as we go skiing here every year for Kurt’s birthday. It is also where we got engaged! Hotel Reservation Information: We have a ‘wedding special’ rate of 125 Euros / $135 USD per night, per person; there is a 50% discount per child staying with parents in a family room. This rate includes daily full board comprising a buffet breakfast and lunch, and a 4-course dinner; it excludes drinks & alcohol. The hotel caters for special dietary requirements - you can request this when you RSVP. There is a Kids Club onsite and babysitting services can be arranged directly with the hotel. Airport and Travel Information: Hotel Steiner is approximately a 1-hour drive from Salzburg Airport, in Austria and 2 hours 45 min from Munich Airport in Germany.
