Our Cramazing (Crazy/Amazing) Story
As most of you know, our story is beautifully complex. We met back around 2017. At that time we were both married to our soulmates. We were both in the role of caregiver. Nathalie was fighting cancer, Dale fighting Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Our paths were destined to cross. We became caregiver support to one another. In 2020, both our soulmates died. We stayed in touch.
As the anniversary of Nathalie's death approached, I invited Scott the option of getting together for coffee. On June 9th, 2021, Scott came for coffee but brought his own. We talked for 12 hours. I didn't offer him a coffee, instead, I bought him a pizza.
As time rolled along, we began spending more time together. We eventually realized that we were living together in two houses. One in Burlington. One in Brampton, which we referred to as the Cottage.
January 2024 put us together under one roof in Burlington.
We both consider ourselves lucky to have found a soulmate. But to find a soulmate 2.0 is quite amazing. We continue to express to each other just how lucky we both are. We have been blessed with another chance at love, while our love for Nathalie and Dale remain a signficant part of our story. They are a part of our everydays.
As we prepare to make our vows to each other, we wanted our dearest friends and family with us. Choosing the Thanksgiving weekend seemed a perfect date to express our gratitude for the love we have received from all of you throughout our love journey.
