Our Story
Let me start by saying that neither of us want to give too much away as we will be using lots of details of our story in our wedding speeches! We have worked at the same company for 18 years but didn’t know each other until around 3 years ago. We must have passed each other in the streets of Cambridge numerous times over the years before finally ending up two desks apart in the office. Since then, we and our four daughters, Lily, Sila, Robin and Lara - and all our pets - have become a wonderful team, and our love has brought so much happiness. We would be delighted if you were able to join us on the banks of the River Tay to celebrate our wedding at Easter.

Accommodation information
There are rooms available at the venue: https://www.crerarhotels.com/collection/dunkeld-house-hotel/ There are a small number of other hotels in Dunkeld, and Erigmore Leisure Park offers self-catering accommodation. https://www.verdantleisure.co.uk/central-scotland/perthshire/erigmore/ A taxi would be required to reach them from the venue. The nearest larger towns are Pitlochry to the north and Perth to the south. There is a Premier Inn in Perth offering standard and premier rooms. There are rail links from both Perth and Pitlochry to Dunkeld and Birnam Station but please note that a taxi would still be required to get to the venue. The hotel is in a rural location so don't hesitate to get in touch re any travel preparation advice.
Donations and wedding gifts
We are so grateful that you are joining us on our wedding day and appreciate the expense you have already gone to. There is really no need to do anything else. That said, if you would like to mark our wedding in some way, we'd be grateful for a donation to the Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre, where Claire volunteers as a Trustee (see link below). Some of you have asked about actual wedding gifts and we have put some items in the other link below. Alternatively, B&Q vouchers would be very helpful as we continue to make our home.

Ian's Stag Do
Thanks to Matt for organising a fantastic stag do in the Lake District. We had a wonderful time tackling an extreme via ferrata and canyoning. Matt also organised clay pigeon and air rifle shooting, a lovely cottage and cooked all the meals. What an amazing best man.
