DRESS CODES
Early May is warm in the Costa Blanca but can be cool in the evenings - bring summer clothes for the day, and a jacket or shawl in case it gets chilly later on.
FLIGHTS
The closest airports are Alicante (2h20 flight time, 1h from Moraira) or Valencia (2h15 flight time, 1h30 from Moraira), served by many airlines and from many airports in the UK.
TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
To/from either airport, the Beniconnect service offers easy shuttle services along the Costa Blanca. Simply book online (up to 48h before you need it) and select the drop off nearest your accommodation - they will be in touch with all further instructions. They will wait for your flight even if it's late and usually take ~1h to La Senieta in central Moraira, costing ~30 euros per person

Let us know if you're thinking of sharing a taxi and we can check if anyone else is arriving on the same flight - it's around 85-120 euros depending on if our friend is available at that time or a regular taxi is needed - it takes about 50 mins. Let Katie know and she will arrange!
If you are staying in Alicante city for a night, you can then get the train from there to Teulada, and then call a taxi from there. They run every few hours so check times before you travel, and costs around 11 euros. This route is not recommended directly from the airport because you have to change trains a couple of times and often the timings do not work out well. This can be booked

LOCAL TAXIS
If you need any taxis to get around, many are available - we usually use is Central Taxis on +34 966 897 911.
Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding to the Moraira area on the Saturday, with the pick-up in central Moraira near the free car park and taxi ranks, for easy onward travel to your accommodation.
RENTING A CAR
If you’re staying longer or exploring more widely, cars can be hired from the airport with all the major names.
We also have a 25% discount with Moovers (DISC25) which is a shuttle away from the airport. They do need a credit card when you pick up the car but don't accept Amex.

LITTLE ONES
We would be delighted to have children be part of the party for the welcome drinks and beach brunch. Unfortunately however, we can only open the invite for the wedding day itself to children from our immediate family who are in the wedding party, or babes in arms. We can recommend many lovely connections as babysitters - let us know if you'd like us to put you in touch! If any clarifications are needed, please just let us know.
There are a lot of families in the region and lots of things to do with kids!

A NOTE ON GIFTS
Your travelling to be with us is truly enough; please no gifts. If you would still (despite our best efforts) like to do something, we both support Cancer Research and the Stroke Association UK and any donations are always welcome to help progress research and support to those affected.
