Their love story, so far...
How the love birds met... Charlotte & Tom's story really began thanks to the wonders of social media. Having known of each other for a while, Charlotte took the plunge & added Tom on Facebook. Within minutes of receiving the friend request, Tom sent a message 'Hey how's it going x'. Having sent the friend request on Sunday 8th December 2019, a first date was arranged for Friday 13th December (lucky for some!)...Tom took Charlotte to The Fishpool Inn, Delamere, for what would be the first of many unforgettable dates! The unexpected move-in... Fast forward to March 2020, when the world turned upside down Charlotte decided to move into Tom's place 'for a few weeks' to ride out lockdown together. Those few weeks turned into months, & months turned into years - they haven't looked back since! A surprise Christmas present... Just before Christmas 2020, Charlotte came home from work to find that Tom had brought home an early Christmas present - an eight-week-old ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Otis. He's been spreading joy (and a bit of chaos!) ever since. Building a life together... In April 2021, the duo took another big step and bought a house together in Shavington - it's the perfect place to call home & continue their adventures together. Over the years, they've been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places, including Lanzarote, Rhodes, America, Barcelona, Scotland, Croatia & London. They've also attended countless weddings together, each one a beautiful reminder of the love & commitment they share. The proposal... One of the most memorable & magical moments of their journey so far happened on the 8th May 2023... ...during a holiday to America, Tom proposed to Charlotte at Graceland, Memphis. It was a magical moment at the home of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, and of course...Charlotte said yes! Over to you... Charlotte & Tom are so excited to continue their journey together, & can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you. Thank you for being a part of their story and for sharing their special day with them!

Is there a dress code?
No, other than to please try and avoid the colours white & orange.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space & careful planning, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests.
Can I bring my child/children?
As much as we love your children, we believe you deserve a night off, so leave the kids at home & have a date night with us!
When do I need to RSVP by?
We kindly request that you RSVP by Monday 4th August 2025. If we don’t hear from you by the 4th August, we'll assume you're sadly unable to join us.
Would you like a wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! However, if you’d like to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate contributions towards our honeymoon fund. We're excited to create lasting memories together on this magical trip.
Can I stay over at the wedding venue?
We're reserving the limited overnight accommodation for close family & the wedding party. We've compiled a list of nearby places where you can stay. Please visit the accommodation section of our website below (keep scrolling!) for some great options.
Can I pay for drinks at the bar with cash?
No, Owen House is a cashless venue, this means they only take card payments at the bar.
What time does the party end?
The party will end at midnight, with the barn doors closing at 12.30am.
I have dietary requirements...
Please email charlotteandtomsmith@gmail.com to make us aware of any dietary requirements at least six weeks before.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
Our Ceremony will be unplugged, so we kindly ask that you put your phones & cameras away during the ceremony. (Don’t worry, we’ve hired a professional photographer to capture everything beautifully!)
Can we post photos on social media?
We’d appreciate it if you waited until we’ve shared our own photos first - after that, we’d love to see your favourite moments from our special day!
Where can I park?
There is plenty of parking at Owen House. If you will be collecting your vehicle the next day, please make sure it is out of the car park by 10am.
Should I book a taxi home in advance?
Yes, (please don't drink & drive!) we'd highly recommend booking a taxi in advance. A few local taxi options are... Georgina
Fellow Disney lover & long-time bestie since the age of six, Georgina is one of the most caring, loving & selfless people you will ever meet. Charlotte is honoured to have Georgina by her side as her Matron of Honour.
Amy
Amy & Charlotte's friendship began on their first day of college (in the bathroom, to be exact!). They've shared countless nights out & unforgettable holidays together. Amy's loving spirit & loyalty make her a treasured friend.
Laura, AKA Fresher
When Laura moved into the same university house as Charlotte, their friendship sparked, and so did Laura's nickname, Fresher! Whether it's travelling the world to visit Laura at work in Rhodes or Menorca, or all the nights out in Chester, these two have lots of stories to tell.
Lucy
The memories Lucy & Charlotte share from high school will never be forgotten. From belly laughs on the French Exchange, to their (not so great!) duo-dance performance in the school's showcase, they hold a fair share of memories. Charlotte cannot wait to join the 'wife club' with Lucy by her side.
Rebekah
Charlotte & Rebekah met through their shared love of Disney whilst performing as character performers during their year abroad working at Disney World. They now continue to create magical memories together on days out and long walks with their dogs, Otis & Milo.
Sophie
When they were nine years old, Sophie & Charlotte became neighbours, marking the beginning of their forever friendship. From then on, they danced together, shared the same high school form, attended the same college, and in 2023, Charlotte was delighted become an honorary auntie to Sophie's beautiful daughter.
Adam
Tom's delighted to have his brother be part of his Best Men duo. Growing up together, Adam & Tom have shared countless memories & adventures, building a deep and unbreakable bond. Tom was honoured to be promoted to uncle in 2023, when Adam became a dad to the wonderful Leila.
Tom B, AKA Batch
Batch is the second half of Tom's Best Men duo. They've been best friends since they were four years old and remain inseparable to this day. A word of caution for the wedding - if you spot Batch at the bar, expect shots to be consumed!
Chris Hill
Chris Hill, always referred to by his full name, has been friends with Tom since year seven in high school. Both are avid Liverpool FC fans and share countless memories of watching UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship!) at Chris Hill's family home when they were younger.
Tom J, AKA Jonah
Tom and Jonah have been friends since they were teenagers, bonding over their love of sports and The Great British Bake Off. They've completed many 5k & 10k runs together. Jonah is a close, reliable friend who loves...an archers and lemonade!!
Martin, AKA Pel
Pel (famous for having the best nickname in the group—ask him about it!) and Tom have built their friendship on countless shared adventures, from unforgettable holidays to epic stag dos. The duo share interests in sports, running, cycling, and even a few spirited rounds of golf. As fellow tradesmen, they’ve swapped tools, stories, and plenty of laughs along the way.
Matt W, AKA Wrench
Tom and Wrench have been friends since primary school, sharing many memories over the years - including both working at ASDA and playing football together. Tom had the honour of being one of Wrench's groomsmen in 2023.
Matt T, AKA Taylor
Taylor, the tallest of the group, has been friends with Tom since primary school. Known as 'The Travelling Giant', Taylor and Tom have shared many experiences around the world, with their most memorable being Taylor meeting up with Charlotte & Tom in Nashville, Tennessee. Tom was honoured to be a groomsman at Taylor's wedding in 2023.
Jason
Tom & Jason's friendship began at Mum's and Toddlers group when they were young, but at high school their friendship really sparked by their shared love for mopeds. Over the years, their bond has grown stronger through countless holidays and adventurous walks, including their unforgettable trek up Kilimanjaro. Tom had the honour of being Jason's Best Man at his wedding in 2018, a testament to their close-knit friendship.
