Our Story
Carlo and Taylah met back in the summer of 2015 on the magical island of Ibiza. Connecting over their love for music and partying, their relationship continued once they were back to reality in England. Never a dull moment when they were together, Carlo managed to convince Taylah to move to Leighton Buzzard where they now live with their Darlin doodle. On a snowboarding trip in December 2022, Carlo got down on one knee and with the beautiful mountains behind them, Taylah said yes!

Accommodation Information
Here are some hotel options in the area that we recommend. There will be a coach picking up and dropping off all guests from Hotel II Castelo, in Certaldo town centre on the Wedding day. I have included hotels that are in the town centre. If you were wanting a hotel with a swimming pool, I have included some options that are around a 10 minute drive to the centre. There are also some villas nearby that I have found on Airbnb. Please drop me a text if you would like some more information on these.

FAQ's
Which airport shall we fly into?
There are two airports close by, Florence (45 minute drive) and Pisa (1 hour drive). Pisa flights are reasonably cheaper than Florence.
Do we need to hire a car?
It is completely up to you. If you plan on doing some exploring while you're in Italy then car hire is best. However if you are coming for the weekend, you can get a taxi from the airport to Certaldo. Taxi's once in Certaldo can be tricky but we have arranged transport for the Wedding day, so no need for you to worry.
Places to explore in Tuscany?
If you have a few spare days and are looking to explore, we recommend staying a few nights in Florence. It is a beautiful city with the wine windows a personal favourite of ours. San Gimignano (a medieval town in Sienna) is a 30 minute drive away from Certaldo. This a beautiful town, known for its architecture and famous tower houses. If you have more time to spare and are looking for a few days by the beach. Tuscany has a lovely coastline. A bit further out is Elba Island (a short ferry ride from Piombino). This island is known for it's stunning beaches and crystal clear water.
