Our Love Story
A girl walks into a bar, and the rest is history.. sort of. Brooke and Collin met at Cascade Draft House in 2021. Brooke thought Collin was cute right away with his curly hair, and Collin put Brooke’s description in his notes as “Chemist. Singo.” So it was basically love at first sight. On a trip to Asheville with mutual friends, they got to know each other better. What started as a friendship turned into more when Collin dropped a line from the song “The Joker” and casually mentioned he had a flame thrower. Naturally, that led to their first date. What might sound like an unusual start turned out to be a pretty accurate preview of their relationship - a lot of fun, a little unexpected, and certainly never boring. Over time, what started as a fun night out became something they kept choosing every day after. From all the lake days, camping trips, vacations, music festivals, and Rock Band nights at home, the greatest adventure is always right around the corner. On a spur-of-the-moment impulsive trip to Japan, Collin completely surprised Brooke by proposing at the highest point of the Tokyo SkyTree. And of course, she said yes! Now, they’re excited to embark on one of their greatest adventure yet.. saying “I do”, surrounded by the people they love most.

When do we need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by August 31.
Will I have cell service at the venue?
Cell service is limited in the area and at the venue itself. We recommend downloading your GPS directions before you leave and letting your friends and family know you may be hard to reach during the event.
What if I can’t make it to the wedding?
That’s okay! We know everyone’s circumstances are different, and we won’t be offended. Your love and support mean a lot to us, whether you’re with us that day or not. Please mark your RSVP as "not attending" so we can get a proper headcount.
Can I bring a date?
Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on invitations. If you were invited with a guest, they will be named on your invitation.
Are children invited to the wedding?
To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding!
Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Barring forecasted rain, our wedding ceremony is outdoors. The reception is indoors with outdoor areas and a fire pit.
What will the weather be like?
October on the Blue Ridge Plateau is usually mild but a bit unpredictable. Be prepared for warm or cool weather. It will cool down as the evening comes. October is the driest month in this area, but rain is a possibility!
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire, but wear comfy shoes for dancing!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
The ceremony site is in a field by a river. We don't recommend stiletto heels or anything that may stick in the ground. Wear comfy shoes for dancing!
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
The ceremony site is in a field. The venue will have transportation available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property. The reception area is indoors and wheelchair accessible.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We have hired professional photographers and videographers, however you are welcome to take your own photos at the reception. Please no photos during the ceremony. If you do take photos at the reception, please share them with us below!
Share your photos, videos, or stories with us!
We would love to create a beautiful collage of memories at our wedding, and we invite you to be a part of it! Feel free to share special moments of the wedding itself or any other memories we've made along the way. Uploaded content will be shared in the reception space.
