Our Love Story
A girl walks into a bar, and the rest is history.. sort of. Brooke and Collin met at Cascade Draft House in 2021. Brooke thought Collin was cute right away with his curly hair, and Collin put Brooke’s description in his notes as “Chemist. Singo.” So it was basically love at first sight. On a trip to Asheville with mutual friends, they got to know each other better. What started as a friendship turned into more when Collin dropped a line from the song “The Joker” and casually mentioned he had a flame thrower. Naturally, that led to their first date.
What might sound like an unusual start turned out to be a pretty accurate preview of their relationship - a lot of fun, a little unexpected, and certainly never boring. Over time, what started as a fun night out became something they kept choosing every day after. From all the lake days, camping trips, vacations, music festivals, and Rock Band nights at home, the greatest adventure is always right around the corner.
On a spur-of-the-moment impulsive trip to Japan, Collin completely surprised Brooke by proposing at the highest point of the Tokyo SkyTree. And of course, she said yes! Now, they’re excited to embark on one of their greatest adventure yet.. saying “I do”, surrounded by the people they love most.
