Our Love Story
Aoife and Aoife met playing Dungeons and Dragons together while trying to pass time during lockdown. Fast forward a few hundred dice rolls, three country moves, two granola bars and one pier jump, and here we are asking you to be with us to share the love

Time to introduce the amazing people we wanted by our sides on our big day! Here are our Maids of Honour, Aoife McGlinchey's Bridespeople, and Aoife Lannon's Bridesmen
Niamh - Maid of Honour
The middle child - she's coming back from Canada to be with us! Once told Aoife to be quiet because she was trying to chat to someone. The problem is that Aoife was trying to get her attention because she was drowning in a pool at the time. She was the first one to send us her picture though so she's made up for it
Keara - Bridesmaid
The oldest sister and the most likely to cry - if you can't find her, you'll likely find her at the bar ordering a round of tequilas...probably for us
Kevin - Bridesman
While not technically a McGlinchey, Kevin might as well be one, so he is joining the bridal party as Aoife’s brother. She will, however, expect him to bend a little in photos so that she doesn’t look quite so tiny in comparison
Christina - Maid of Honour
Chris is Aoife's maid of honour, and best friend since they were 13. She is the one of the best things that has stayed with Aoife from secondary school, sadly all that Applied Maths homework they did together went out the window straight away
Finn - Bridesman
"the superior brother" - Finn Lannon (2024). Finn has just been waiting for an opportunity to tell stories of Aoife as a little sister, and it's all about to finally pay off
Cian - Bridesman
Cian went to college in Galway, and after visiting him there Aoife decided she wanted to go to college in Galway too, so really the fact that you all have to travel all this way is his fault

Dress Code?

For real, dress code?
Anything but navy, or a big white gown - don't be that guy! Classic wedding, dress for pictures!
What would you like as a gift?
We have all of the home things we need. All we need is a home to put them in! So we would really appreciate a cash gift to help us get started, if possible
Parking for Ceremony?
The Mick Lally Theatre does not have parking itself, but there is a paid car park within a 5 minute walk, here's a link to that https://maps.app.goo.gl/LwEEygS1djoUaZq48
Parking for Reception?
Meadow Court Hotel has parking for up to 300 cars, so you could even bring your spares!
Are the Venues far from each other?
Around a 30 minute drive! And for those of you who can't get there by car, we have booked a small bus to get you from the Ceremony to the Reception if needed, just let us know
Can I bring my kids?
Respectfully, we would prefer all guests to be 18+ unless specifically named on the invite, and venue policy is no under 10’s. We do apologise if this is inconvenient, but it is never anything personal!
Can I bring a plus one?
As space may be limited, if you'd like to bring someone who isn't on the invite please get in touch and we'll discuss!
Accomodation?
The Meadow Court is now fully booked for the night, however we have a list of other accommodation options, please contact us if you're having trouble finding somewhere!
When should I RSVP by?
The earlier the better! But no later than April 1st please, and no April Fools RSVPs!
Are the venues accessible?
Both are wheelchair accessible
What if I have dietary requirements?
We will include this in the RSVP's - If you forgot to include it, get in touch and we can accommodate!
Can I take pictures at the Ceremony?
During the ceremony we would appreciate if you could refrain, but from "I do" onwards, they are welcome and encouraged! We will have a shared drive set up where we can all share pictures of the night!
Am I asking too many questions?
No such thing, let's keep it going
Which Aoife proposed first?
Aoife McGlinchey did! But Aoife Lannon did follow up with a proposal of her own a couple of months later! (Ring shipping took a while, okay?)
Are you going to take each other's names?
Okay but like, you can see why we can't do that We may double-barrel things to keep it interesting sometimes, one can be Aoife McGlinchey-Lannon and one can be Aoife Lannon-McGlinchey
