Our Love Story
Angela & Paul met in August 2023. Right from the jump, Angela took one look at Paul and immediately recognised a wonderful man who would put her first and could fulfil all of her DIY needs — a rare and precious find. Meanwhile, Paul was instantly smitten with Angela’s beautiful smile, warm heart, and the way she somehow manages to be both adorable and terrifying when holding a DIY tool.
Weeks turned into months, months turned into “Wait, how long has it been?”, and before they knew it, they were basically living in a rom‑com — minus the dramatic soundtrack and with significantly more DIY projects.
Fast forward to November 2024, where Paul whisked Angela away to the Seychelles — a place so beautiful it almost distracted her from the fact that he was acting suspiciously nervous.
After dropping hints so obvious they could’ve been written in neon lights, and Angela pretending she had no idea until her impatience got the better of her the moment finally arrived.
On a perfect beach, with the waves gently crashing and the sun setting like a scene from a travel advert, Paul got down on his one good knee (the other one was on strike). Angela — emotional, excited, and possibly a little drunk — shouted YES before he even finished the question.
And just like that, the DIY queen and her handsome handyman were officially engaged.
Today, Angela and Paul are planning a wedding filled with love, laughter, and probably at least one power tool hidden somewhere “just in case.”
Paul absolutely adores Angela — her kindness, her humour, and the way she lights up every room.
Angela loves Paul —he is her rock, his patience, his loyalty, thoughtfulness and his ability to turn his hand to anything.
They can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter with all the people who’ve cheered them on. Right from the jump.
