Our Love Story
We met on day one of our very first Computing Science lab at the University of Glasgow. One of us was late—you’ll never guess who— and took the only free seat in the lab… next to the prettiest girl in the class!!!
From that point on we hung out most days and talked on the phone most nights - around a year later we had our first date!
Fast forward through many years of adventures: surviving and graduating university, backpacking through Europe, visiting family in Kansas, beach holidays in North Carolina and paragliding in Tenerife. We navigated our first jobs, a brief stint apart while working in Canada, and moving into our wee flat in Glasgow just in time to ride out the pandemic, before finally getting our own house a few years ago. Through it all—from hosting Eurovision parties and battling dreaded IKEA furniture to just playing video games together—we knew it was forever.
On a chilly January night, after 13 years together, the question was finally popped on top of the scary glass floor of the CN Tower in Toronto!! She said yes!!
