It all started in July 2018 when Alexander and Simoné met on social media. They were both students at the same university, and Alexander was immediately attracted to Simoné’s charisma. Specifically the way Simoné approached Alexander with a sweet pick up line. Simoné was drawn to Alexander’s caring heart and his intelligent conversation. The pair quickly became friends and started to spend more and more time together. They would also go on long walks on campus, talking about their dreams and aspirations. Their friendship spontaneously developed into something more. Alexander and Simoné started to share more of their lives with each other, and it was clear that something special was blossoming between them. He had fallen in love with her and the way she encouraged him to pursue Jesus with all his heart. She had fallen in love with his caring heart and love for everyone around him. Alexander proposed to Simoné under a big tree - a place that they hold near to their hearts - just after New Year’s on January 1st 2022. On the 20th of December 2022, Alexander and Simoné had their legal wedding ceremony and one year later, on 20 December 2023, they will have their spiritual ceremony. They are each other’s best friends and soul mates. They now reside in the Netherlands where their story will continue and they are looking forward to their future together and the adventures that await them.
