Our Love Story
Dave and Alyce met in February 2024 – Alyce was out with friends, and Dave was flying solo (brave move). Alyce couldn’t help but notice that Dave had absolutely no chance of remembering anyone’s name he met that night – and made sure to tease him about it. Turns out, Dave loved it. Alyce quickly discovered he was a great communicator and didn’t take life too seriously – which made him way too much fun to ignore. Dave, meanwhile, was smitten with Alyce’s kindness (and probably her sass, too). Fast forward a year, and Dave got down on one knee while they were on holiday at Kangaroo Island, overlooking the stunning Snelling Beach. Alyce said yes – obviously – and now their two worlds (and four kids!) have officially blended into one big, loud, beautifully chaotic family. They wouldn’t have it any other way – and they can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

While the bridal party disappear for photos, we’re bribing you with a delicious grazing table and plenty of drinks so you won’t even notice we’re gone. Mingle, snack, and get those early selfies in — by the time we get back, you’ll be fed, watered, and ready to party!

After grazing, it’s time to really celebrate! Join us for an evening of great music, laughter, and cocktail-style bites from our friends at The Standing Fork. There’ll be space for the kids to hang out and enjoy themselves. And don’t forget the photo booth! Grab a prop, strike a pose, and capture all the silly, fun, and slightly embarrassing moments. Drinks will be flowing, laughter will be everywhere, and the memories? Absolutely unforgettable.
